Emergency financial assistance and general financial advice on topics such as budgeting is available.Emergency Financial Assistance:Low-income singles and families are eligible for federal and state assistance. For singles and families not eligible for aid, and for those who need immediate help, there are several agencies that provide emergency financial assistance for residents of the lower and outer cape with temporary financial problems. Helping Our Women is a social service agency serving Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown. We serve women who have been diagnosed with chronic, life threatening, and/or disabling conditions with a range of programs.
