Mass 2-1-1:

Mass 2-1-1 is both an online searchable database and a phone service of statewide community resources that is maintained by United Way.  It provides information on emergency food, clothing, and financial assistance for paying heating and utility bills, childcare services, job resources, and other help for individuals, families, parents and seniors.  By entering a keyword of the desired service and a zip code, the services available in that area of Massachusetts are quickly located.  Click here to access the database.  Alternatively, by dialing 211 on the phone, a service representative will ask the appropriate questions to help locate the resources in the desired location.
